Clint Dempsey got the advantage of a huge mistake by Robert Green, goalkeeper of England and the game ended up tied between England and USA today in the World Cup.

Green was filled with agony when he missed the ball and Dempsey got a really soft goal in the very 41st minute of the game.

Clint Dempsey performed really well today in FIFA World Cup.

Green is expected to be replaced in the second half of play due to his big mistake as per fans on twitter. Even the commentator couldn't stop himself from saying “It’s a living nightmare for Robert Green, with the whole world watching.” Ouch.

Despite of a left-footer score by Steve Gerrard, England captain in the very first 5 minutes of game, its been a good beginning for US. But this is not beneficial for USA team as it is 0-15 already in the Cup if it fail to score first.

Le Mans 2010-The Most Awaiting Race Of The Year

Le mans

Le mans

Le Mans 24 hours, isn't the only most technologically advanced 24 hours endurance race. This one is the 78th edition. It demands  more challenges than any other race.

A Peugeot team driver Alexander Wurz said-It is uncomparable to Formula-1. But can be compared to Tour de France in some way. Like Tour de France, Le Mans is also a single event, and they both prepare the whole for this Tour.

The top-level races have an average period of one and a half hour, some of them may take many hours like 500-mile. And Endurance races goes from 6 to 24 hours. Le Mans is the most prestigious of all and run once a year.

In Le Mans  56 cars are on the field with 168 drivers having 4 women of 23 different nationalities.  The tire changing crew, drivers, engineers, team owners work with full spectrum of Human's best qualities like- Concentration, patience, human interaction, night vision, stamina, strategic thinking, politics and last but not the least Team work. All team members get tired before the race because of their hectic schedule said Wurz.

And this leads to commit more mistakes you can shout sometimes but you have to be calm because this is a team work and you have to work as a team player.

The drivers can cover 3100 miles sometimes on the track at the speed of 210 miles even if they have to drive in the dark night.

Marc Gene who was the winner of last years race as Wurz's teammate said Top teams addresses human challenges. Gene said during his time days were totally based upon physical and mental exercises and sometimes there were only four including him to change the tyres in whole race.

This year in Le Mans 2010 Gene and Wurz will be the teammates again for the same car and for the same team Peugeot. Wurz said- There is no place for mistakes and you have to be very fast and adaptable to rhythem. Gene said so that we can navigate during the race, we have to know which car is best and which driver is the best.

J.J. Lehto said a remarkable thing that if u don't have a good car 24 hours will convert into 48 hours who is racer of Le Mans ten times and won in 1995 and 2005.

Night time is difficult and even if you didn't had a sleep throughout the whole race, the feeling of winning the Le Mans race will not make you feel that.

Peterson’s Absence From Vikings Minicamp Raises Questions

Posted: 12 Jun 2010 10:28 AM PDT

Minneapolis, MN, United States (AHN) – Running back Adrian Peterson drew criticism from Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress Saturday, after snubbing the team's three-day mandatory minicamp this week.

Childress showed his dismay about Peterson Saturday, following his absences in the Vikings mandatory and optional team activities this offseason.

Childress said Peterson should prioritize team activities more than other events, including Adrian Peterson Day in Palestine, Texas.

Peterson reportedly chose to attend the fourth annual Adrian Peterson Day in his home town than the Vikings mandatory mini-camp at Winter Park.

Childress ascertained there was no scheduling conflict and insisted the issue was caused mainly by Peterson's commitment issues for team activities.

Childress also explained that the Favre's treatment cannot be applied on him, unless he's planning for a retirement.

“I think that first of all that’s a special circumstance [with Favre],” Childress told Star Tribune.com Friday. “I don’t think Adrian’s batting around retirement in his mind. So it’s a special set of circumstances.

He added he did not even expect Favre to attend the minicamp after the veteran quarterback underwent arthroscopic surgery on his ankle in May.

Childress added that one of their priorities this offseason was to improve Peterson's ball carrying skills, after the running back committed 7 fumbles, including 6 lost last season.

World Cup: South Korea Capitalizes On Greek Tragedy For Group B Win

Posted: 12 Jun 2010 06:55 AM PDT

Port Elizabeth, South Africa (AHN) – South Korea got the perfect start to its 2010 World Cup challenge with a 2-0 win over Greece, which put on a performance that was half comedy, half tragedy Saturday.

In a group that also contains Argentina and Nigeria, this was billed as a ‘must-not-lose’ game for the sides, which both harbored hopes of advancing to the last-16.

For Greece, that would have signaled it’s best ever showing at a World Cup Finals after a poor performance in the US in 1994 which saw it head home early.

A similar fate looks like it will befall Greece in South Africa after a woefully inept performence in Port Elizabeth, in which the squad took until the 80th minute to register a meaningful strike on goal.

South Korea, which reached the semifinals of this competiton when it co-hosted in 2002, were good value for their win and could have made it even more emphatic had they taken their late chances.

As it was, goals from Lee Jung-soo and Ji-sung Park either side of halftime, both the result of slack Greek defending, were more than enough for the victory.

Next up for Greece is a must-win match against Nigeria, while South Korea will head into its encounter with Argentina on Thursday full of confidence.
