The ultimate soccer glory evaded Spain for 44 long years and the draught ended in 2010 only when Spain benefited by its golden generation won the final against Netherlands in 1-0 extra-time in Johannesburg.

Their Euro 2008 success has been registered well with Barcelona’s Andres Iniesta scoring the winning goal in extra-time on July 11 this year becoming the 8th country to lift the Cup.

The finals however started with 1-0 group match loss against Switzerland but the golden team captained by Vicente del Bosque earned a deserving win in the end and David Villa becoming the top scorer with 5 goals till the final.

Spain went to defeat Netherlands, Portugal, Paraguay and Germany this year not at all suffering even a goal to be the only European country to have won the World Cup on a different continent.

The game reflected the strategy that Barcelona keeps with the ‘Tiqui Taca’ to dominate possession and Iniesta was selected for Ballon D'Or.

However at the Nou Camp on November 29, going into the first Clasico Barcelona went on to gain 31 points beating Real by a point they reached the Champion's League semi-finals.

Mourinho the Real Madrid's hero had earned 10 wins and 2 draws but his wonderful career was battered by the loss he faced at Nou Camp when Villa scored twice in a 5-0 debacle.

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola registered his 5th successive win and German internationals Sami Khedira and Mesut Ozil are the ones coaching Real Madrid.

The golden generation of Spain has done it this time for Spain and both Barcelona and real Madrid are in the knock-out phase of the Champion's League.

Posted: 15 Dec 2010 02:08 AM PST

Indian cricket team's most eligible guy, Yuvraj Singh celebrated his 29th birthday on the 12th of December and as per the news has it; he managed to get in a lot of lovely ladies to party with him.

Yuvraj had close friends and some bollywood gals involved in the bash. The party was thrown over a private yacht close to the gateway of India with the pretty ladies being Rakshanda Khan, Arti Chhabria and also Preity Zinta.

Less than 50 friends were there in the party and the quickly put together celebration was quite secluded also in terms of the media presence.

The party was an all night affair with wild things installed. But amidst all this there was no media interference.

Preity Zinta is the grand owner of the cricket team Kings XI Punjab and it is for this reason that she shares a good relationship with Yuvi who is also a player for the same team.

It was during the early period that rumors about a budding relationship between Preity Zinta and Yuvraj Singh were being heard however at that point Ness and Preity were close together.

Preity also has a second reason to celebrate and that is the delay in annulling of her team from the Bombay HC side which has given Kings XI Punjab another option to continue on with the IPL season this year, if everything goes well.

If this happens then it will be good to see Yuvi and Preity party some more. As for Yuvraj, the player is an all rounder whether it is the field or otherwise pretty ladies.
