But in the second test match everything will have to be done form the scratch by both the teams in order to win the match. South African team is looking in perfect shape for this match as well. She does not have any sort of woes in terms of form or fitness of any player. There is something that has landed South African think tank in a trouble and that trouble if about the inclusion of third fast bowler in the team. At this time South African team already has bowlers like Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn who can bowl with furious pace and rattle Indian batting easily. But South African team also wants to field third pacer. This is what that has put South African team management in a fix. At this time South African team wants to field Lonwabo Tsotosbe or Wayne Parnell. So far as the favor is concerned so lanwabo Tsotsobe is hot favorite because he has performed consistently in all the matches he has played. On the other hand Wayne Parnell is also knocking at the door very strongly with his performance regularly. Moreover he has the pace that can rattle even the strongest batting lineup of the world. But this is turning out to be a big problem for South African team. |

But South African team dashed all the expectations of team to the ground in the first test match. South Africa convincingly won the first test match with the significant margin of innings and 25 runs in centurion. But now both the teams have moved to Durban for 2nd test match. Second test match between India and South Africa is going to start from tomorrow in Durban. As a result of victory in the first test match against India home side South Arica is leading the series by 1-0. Now the battle has moved to Durban for 2nd test match. Both teams are raring to have a go at each other. After being wounded team India will endeavor to hit the home side very hard in this test match by registering a win here to level the series 1-1. On the other hand South African team will also be looking forward to lock the series right here in Durban by beating team India once again. Both the teams are in good shape after the first test match. In the first test match result came owing to the performance of the players of the both teams. But here in Durban the whole scenario seems to be entirely different unlike centurion test there will be weather factor also that will surely play significant role in the context of this paramount test match for both the teams. Now second test match is going to take place tomorrow in Durban for which the big stage is all set. This test match is surely going to be a nail biter as both the teams are evenly matched. Apart from the performance of the players of both the teams weather is also likely to play important role in this test match because BBC has predicted overcast conditions for tomorrow. Moreover slight drizzle also took place in Durban today. This drizzle lasted for at least half-an-hour. So this is going to put more moisture in the wicket for quickies. Today Indian captain Mahender Singh Dhoni monitored the pitch. According to him this pitch is highly green which is a heaven for bowlers. Moreover, if wind blows towards the sea so it will bring clouds which will assist the bowlers with significant pace. So in this way this pitch will be a graveyard of the batting lineup. But on other hand if wind blows from north east from the sea towards the land then this pitch will be a heaven for batting. At the same time this pitch is highly green and the grass applied on t his pitch is deep rooted. But this deep rooted grass is not going to cause trouble like the cracks present on the pitch outside the off stump will present for the right handed batsmen batting from the dressing room end. Moreover to add to the trouble of the batsmen overhead conditions are also likely to be present there as I mentioned earlier, said Indian skipper Mahender Singh Dhoni. so in Durban test match toss is also going to be very crucial, Says Dhoni. Nevertheless because despite this entire if something is going to decide the winner of this test match so it will only be the performance of the players of both the teams. So fans lets hope for a wonderful test match between two of the super talented teams of the Cricket World that are fighting for the top slot through this series for the crown of ICC World No.1 Test Team. So everyone sit back on your couch and relax and switch your TV Sets on and hold your hearts in your hands because tomorrow in Durban clash of titans is going to begin. In this clash of titans whereas team India will give best shot for bouncing back in the series so at same time south African team will try to seal the series right here. |
[Live Score] Eng vs Aus 4th Test: Australia Have Excellent Performance Record At MCG Posted: 25 Dec 2010 06:36 AM PST
Ashes 2010-11 series is being seen as a golden chance for England team to grab the Urn. English team is being perceived as stronger than their counterparts. Though that seemed true in the first test match played at Brisbane that went drawn but posting a superb second innings batting by England. The second test match played at Adelaide Oval was won by England handsomely pointing out towards some weaker areas of Australia in batting and bowling. Especially in bowling, Australia needed to discover some magic to keep going in the series. Probably the wonder got discovered before the third test match played in Perth that Australia won back thereby levelling the series by 1-1 with two more test matches to go. The fourth test match is to start on 26th December, Sunday at Melbourne. This is a special day as is also remembered as Boxing Day. This would be a special test for Ricky Ponting who though is not going through his good batting phase, as if Australia wins this test, it would be 100th test win for Ponting playing in those tests. That will be a unique achievement for Ponting, if it happens. Australia has a good record here at MCG as out of their last 11 test matches played here, they have won 10. Mike Hussey and Alastair Cook have been going great guns in batting with already 517 and 495 runs accumulated respectively. If they keep going in rest of the two matches, they would definitely break last Ashes series played in 2009 record of an individual score. A good capacity of 90,000 fans is expected on Sunday to witness the start of this match. For England there are two major concerns – one, playing of their ace bowler James Anderson who is still recovering from an injury, and second, Paul Collingwood searching for his lost form. |
