Sports people from other disciplines have provided their support on the point of view that Sachin Tendulkar should be awarded with the prestigious Bharat Ratna award as he is worthy of this honor.

Gagan Narang the CWG gold medalist in the shooting segment said that the Government will be the deciding body upon this matter but through his self opinion Narang states that Sachin should definitely be honored with this greatest civilian award of the country.

Adding to this the medal bagging shooter said that Sachin has been a part of the Indian cricket team from a long while and at that point our current cricket players were not even born.

Hence with the moving time his hunger for perfection and runs hasn't yet washed off. This attribute in his character as a player is something that should be justly appreciated by the conferring of this honor on him.

Vijender Singh the boxing champion of India also has a similar thought about this and putting forward his view about Sachin he says that a player like him is unique and outstanding.

With his increasing age even his game is on the track of improvement as he only adds value to it through his playing experience. Hence in order to mark his achievements the government should award him with the Bharat Ratna.

Vijender also added that Sachin has been as inspiration to him as he faces his critics with his play. Also he is a very humble person in person in real life.

Ashwini Akkunji the athlete from Karnatka also supported this thought and said that Sachin has made the nation proud and has been a continuous source of motivation for other sports people.
